The foundation of Restorative Yoga is the practice of deliberate stillness. Restorative yoga is a gentle form of yoga that uses props to encourage a deep state of relaxation. Most of our lives are spent in constant movement. Our days are filled with lots of technology: TV, computers, cell phones as well as stress and tension. The restorative yoga antidote is the simple act of lying down and being still and the use of the breath.
